Porch Mango Tea

South Florida is a very warm state, Floridians know how to take advantage of a cool and refreshing beverage. Also, if you are from South Florida you know that once mango season hits everyone is flooding your front door with bags of mangos. This year, take the extras and make our Porch Mango Tea. You wont be disappointed!


4 Cups water
3 Large tea bags
4 Large mangos
4 Cups ginger ale
Honey to taste
Mint (optional)


  1. Bring 4 cups of water to boil in a medium sauce pan
  2. Add the tea bags and boil for 2 additional minutes
  3. Remove from heat, cover and steep for 10 minutes
  4. To make mango puree – peel and pit 3 mangos. Place in a blender with lime juice and puree until smooth (strain the puree through a sieve if you prefer less pulp)
  5. In a pitcher, combine cooled tea, peach puree, and ginger ale. Add honey to taste.
  6. Cut remaining mango into slices and use as a garnish. Optional: You can also garnish with fresh mint if desired
